Aircraft Control Panel
The Problem
This throttle control panel had become cracked and brittle over time due to prolonged sun exposure and age. As it originated from a vintage light aircraft, replacement parts were no longer available. The customer approached us to see if we could reproduce the component, and we successfully remade it using the original part as a pattern.
What We Did
The original panel was carefully measured and recreated within our CAD system, producing an accurate mathematical and graphical model of the part. This data was then used to drive our CNC laser cutting and engraving equipment, allowing us to manufacture precise replacements. The new panels were produced from colour-laminated material, resulting in one red and one black panel, each with a crisp contrasting background for clear visibility and a high-quality finish.
