As part of a National Lottery-funded outreach project for the St Peter’s Church spire renovation, we were proud to craft a vessel for Folkestone’s history. We fabricated the capsule from solid zinc, creating a hermetically sealed environment to protect artifacts from air and moisture for centuries.

The project invited local residents to contribute personal memories and snapshots of daily life. Once the community had filled the box, we used delicate soldering to provide a permanent, airtight seal before it was built into the spire—preserving a piece of today for future generations.
