We come from a time-served background in surgical and scientific instrument making, where precision, design, and material quality were essential to every product.

When Central Engineering Services was founded in 1989, our aim was simple: to apply our engineering expertise to the development of reliable, high-quality products and services.

Our work is driven by projects that improve and save lives. Over the years, we have been closely involved in the design and manufacture of medical devices, canine explosive and drug detection systems, and counter-terrorism equipment.

The training equipment we developed for scent detection dogs has helped make this vital work more effective and accessible—supporting efforts ranging from IED detection in Afghanistan to research into viruses such as COVID-19.
